KAIST was founded in 1971 as South Korea’s first graduate school specialising in science and engineering research. KAIST currently has 842 professors, and over 8000 students, with more than half of them graduate students. In 2013/14 QS World University Rankings ranked KAIST 60th overall in the world and 12th within Asia, coming 24th in Engineering and Technology. The School of Computing houses IoT research research centres, Global USN National Research Laboratory (NRL) and Auto-ID Labs KAIST.
KAIST research interests include RFID and sensor networks, real-time and embedded systems and Internet of Things. It brings in Wise IoT a significant experience in core technology for future internet, bringing security and users’ privacy expertise in networks, from devices, communication to IT systems.
